iOS App v3.1.2 (BETA)

This update to our iOS application is set to be released on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022.

New Features

  • Able to opt-in to marketing emails during registration
  • Able to update marketing preferences in User Settings
  • All Settings UI updated
  • Device Details UI updated
  • Event Details screen removed
    • Details now shown in expandable card in list

Bug Fixes

  • Performance fixes and optimizations
  • Fix Location switching issue
  • Fix Legacy command switch in debug tool

Known Issues

  • All devices in the main device list say “Basement Closet”
    • Soon, users will be able to specify which room their devices are in to make it easier to identify where a problem is occurring
    • Placeholder text was not hidden
  • Device list will occasionally show a valve that has recently opened or closed as being in motion, despite finishing its motion successfully
    • Cycling the valve open/close can fix this
    • Details screen appears to show accurate position
  • Network indicator can still show when a network call is NOT active
    • Can be ignored by users
    • Exit and enter the screen again to reset the indicator to the proper state
  • Selecting “Mark all as read” can cause the UI to freeze
  • Location insurance provider can not be change without also changing the location name
  • Text for device status can go off screen in devices list
  • Opening an “unread” event, the event will close automatically, when it’s read status changes
