An update to Valve Controller firmware was released to the public on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023. Rollout of new firmware occurs incrementally to all devices over a 3-day period.

Added

  • New command (PAIR_RESET = 51) to remove ALL paired devices
  • Max timeout while waiting for IP assignment during OTA set to 30s
  • RF modem now upgradable via OTA
    • Faster upgrade process for early-production devices stuck on legacy firmware
  • Enabled API via RS-485 on remote probe port

Updated

  • Increased motor controller current monitoring sample size for better accuracy
  • Nominal Leak Detector battery voltage updated to handle change from ER 3.6V to CR 3.0V batteries
